Ollie joined our family on June 7, 2006. His former family found it necessary to relinquish him. Their life circumstances changed and they could no longer offer Ollie the life he deserved. Ollie was returned to his breeder where he was evaluated, vetted, and declared healthy, happy, and ready for a new home, our home.

Ollie had a gift. Upon being introduced (to human or canine) he intuitively knew what their needs were and how to fill them. He was gentle and tolerant with small children. He was patient and calm with dog phobic humans. He was non-confrontational and ignored aggressive dogs. He was friendly and encouraging to fearful dogs. Ollie became whatever was needed by the individual he met.

Ollie was a pleasure in every way and every day. He was exceptionally compliant, very obedient, and the sweetest soul. He was affectionate and demonstrative, and viewed all strangers as friends he had yet to meet. Ollie was the happiest dog I have ever met, and I miss him every single day.
